Mode of Action
Both Difenoconazole and Propiconazole belong to the group of triazoles, inhibitors biosynthesis of ergosterol (EBI’s). They act on the pathogenic fungus during penetration and formation of haustoria and inhibit fungal growth by interfering with the biosynthesis of cell membranes.
Application Guide
Apply Defacto® 500EC at the onset of disease development or when climatic conditions favor disease development. Repeat application every 7 – 14 days while ensuring adequate coverage of the crop foliage.
Defacto® 500EC is compatible with commonly used pesticides and foliar fertilizers and non-phytotoxic when used as recommended. However, a physical compatibility test is recommended before mixing commercial quantities or spraying a large area.
