Mode of Action
Spiroxamine is a sterol biosynthesis inhibitor, acting mainly by inhibition of 14-reductase. It readily penetrates into the leaf tissue followed by acropetal translocation to the leaf tip and is uniformly distributed within the whole plant
Application Guide
Apply as an early preventive spray or as soon as the disease is seen while ensuring adequate coverage of the crop foliage and repeat at 10 – 14 days interval as required with a maximum of 6 applications per season.
Apply 2 consecutive applications followed by other 2 fungicides with a different mode of action before re-introduction of Sparrow® 500EC.
Sparrow® 500EC is compatible with commonly used pesticides and foliar fertilizers and non-phytotoxic when used as recommended. However, a physical compatibility test is recommended before mixing commercial quantities or spraying a large area.
